Yes. Owners are an essential part of the process. We coach you through clear, simple steps so you know exactly how to reinforce the training at home, ensuring your dog’s progress sticks long after each session.
Emergencies and Risk Management
If life-threatening, call your veterinarian or the nearest 24/7 ER clinic immediately. During a session or class, follow your trainer’s directions first, then contact your vet.
We prioritize safety by using muzzles when needed, ensuring dogs are gently accustomed to them beforehand.
Absolutely! We have comprehensive professional and general liability coverage for all training services.
Health, Vaccines & Safety
Follow your vet’s plan for age-appropriate protection. Puppies can and should begin structured socialization before “fully vaccinated,” per AVSAB, with hygiene and screening in place.
If your dog has mobility issues, let us know right away. We’ll tailor drills, surfaces, and pacing to suit their needs.
Absolutely! We welcome intact dogs with proper management. For dogs in heat, we recommend private training or in-home training until their cycle concludes.
If your dog shows signs like GI issues, coughing, fever, or eye/nasal discharge, please keep them home and let us know. We'll gladly reschedule at no extra cost with timely notice.
We follow strict safety protocols—controlled setups, appropriate equipment, safe social exposure, and stress-monitoring throughout every session. Your dog is never placed in an unsafe situation, rushed into interactions, or pushed beyond what they can handle.
Results, Timelines & Expectations
Many owners see immediate improvements in clarity and control during the first session. Durable change comes from consistent 5–10 minute daily reps and proofing in real-life contexts.

Absolutely! We support S.T.A.R. Puppy, CGC, Community Canine, and Urban CGC. Our focus is on instilling real-world manners, not just earning a ribbon.
Track how far you've moved from triggers, the length of calm moments, swift recovery times, and successful reps each session. Only advance when stable at the current level.
While tools enhance communication, it's the foundations and owner's expertise that ensure lasting success.
We’ve trained everything from high-drive working dogs to sensitive companion breeds, young puppies, adolescent troublemakers, seniors, rescues, and dogs with complex behavior histories. There isn’t a breed, age, or temperament we haven’t successfully coached.
You’ll see measurable improvements in clarity, calm, focus, and household manners—backed by homework plans, progress tracking, and trainer feedback. Results vary by dog, but the process is consistent: clear communication, structured practice, and real-world reliability.
Behavior Topics
Yes. Begin with Private Training or In-Home sessions to master management, mechanics, and new behaviors. Once solid, we introduce Group/public proofing to reinforce these skills.
Yes, with a staged plan: environment management, independence conditioning, predictable routines, and calm exits/returns. Severe cases may benefit from a vet consult alongside training.
Patterned routines. We install threshold control, station/“place,” and reward history for calm choices, while removing opportunities to rehearse the bad habit.
Reactivity involves exaggerated responses like barking or lunging, usually driven by fear or frustration. Aggression, however, carries the intent to harm. We evaluate and manage these risks effectively.
Yes, with a focus on safety—using muzzles, maintaining distance, and careful setups. We begin with private, in-home sessions and introduce group settings only when stability is achieved.
